I took the lower picture on Monday night at about 9:45pm PDST. He burned to a cinder before the Black Rock City Fire Department was able to put him out. He stands as a skeleton. He is sufficiently impaired that he was pulled down today and another man is being constructed and will be raised during the week. He will burn again (officially) on Saturday night to wild celebration.<br /><br />Population in Black Rock City is in the neighborhood of 25,000, we are sure to hit 40,000 +<br /><br />The city is beautiful, the art is great, I'll post more pictures.
